Designed for serious blue water cruising by Erik Lerouge and built by Brazapi (layup in Belgium, finished in France) SV Hiva Oa is a US flagged/documented and imported high-performance 3 stateroom/3 head sailing catamaran with a cutter rig and mini keels; high bridge clearance and very well protected aft deck/helm. The spacious interior is lined with extremely high quality joinery and includes an excellent navigation/desk setup for remote work, plenty of storage and an elegant living space.
Strong, light & fast, the hulls, decks and house were laminated by a vacuum infusion sandwich construction of kevlar reinforced fiberglass, Airex and vinylester resin. Decks, bulkheads and floor timbers are also sandwich constructed and laminated to the hulls. CE certified vessel.

Layout / Configuration
Cockpit / Aft Deck:
Spacious, protected, and highly functional cockpit arrangement includes large easily accessible storage compartments; beautiful wood table that seats 6-8; helm station with excellent visibility and instrumentation; centered multi-speed electric Harken winch with 10 line constrictor controls for mast & foredeck lines. Running rigging is as used on Vendee Globe boats.
Master Stateroom:
The starboard hull is dedicated to the owner suite, with a large aft double berth, writing desk, foot lockers, closets, drawers, bookshelves, and tv. Forward in the starboard hull is the spacious 2-sink bathroom with step-in shower and washer and dryer. The interior fittings and joinery are high quality workmanship - plywood and foam core panels covered with wood veneer and solid wood moldings.
Other Staterooms:
The port hull has two double cabins, 2 heads and numerous cabinets for stowage. *The aft cabin has a large aft double berth, footlocker, writing desk, bookshelves, closet, tv, and private head. *The forward cabin has a large double berth, bookshelves, footlocker, closets, tv. The forward cabin is designed to be convertible into a workroom or office space with the bed converted to a L-shape desk.
Galley / Dinette:
The main cabin is quite spacious and flows nicely from the entry with a large comfortable settee and it's beautiful custom center pedestal table, through the J-shape galley to the expansive nav station. The galley equipment includes dual stainless sinks, 3-burner propane stove and oven, dishwasher, mini-fridge, microwave and kettle, plenty of convenient storage.
Salon:
The spacious interior with white vinyl overheads and beautiful warm woodwork is bright and airy; the traffic flows easily from the cockpit through the salon and galley and into the hulls and staterooms whether the boat is at the dock, at anchor, or at sea. The interior nav station has good visibility and a delightfully well-organized panel of switches and gauges; There is space to open a chart and it doubles as a nice desk setup for remote work. There is plenty of stowage capacity in both hulls.
