Nordhavn 57 Pilothouse
A "2nd generation" Nordhavn, the 57 is an excellent blue water cruiser with accommodations for 6 in 3 staterooms and 3 heads (one day head in salon). Enclosed pilothouse with port & starboard doors, secure upper station and covered side decks and huge bulwarks, she's a sturdy little ship. Ours has the twin engine setup and is stabilized and has a cruising range of 2500 nautical miles.

Master Stateroom:
Master stateroom is located amidships, under pilothouse, with island queen berth on centerline. There is a large, cedar-lined hanging locker. Additional lockers, drawers and space below cabin sole provide considerable storage facilities. There is a large bookshelf on the bulkhead above the berth, and nightstands and lockers provide additional storage. A large ensuite head has Corian countertops, a separate stall shower with additional handholds and a toilet.
Other Staterooms:
VIP Guest Suite: centerline queen berth, with large storage lockers and drawers and a hanging locker. Access to additional storage and machinery space below berth is facilitated by electrically operated jackscrew arrangement that raises entire berth. Large overhead hatch provides plenty of natural light and good cross ventilation through port. Guest suite shares starboard side head and separate stall shower with guest stateroom to port.
Stateroom 3: Upper/lower berths, port and locker.
Galley / Dinette:
Forward end of the saloon, to port. The galley counter faces aft and has a graceful curve, Corian countertop, a double stainless steel sink and a custom garbage receptacle in countertop. A second such receptacle is in the forward, portside corner of the opposite counter.
Salon:
Accessed through a large sliding door from the cockpit; through a sliding door from the starboard side deck; and via stairs leading down from the pilothouse. To port are a settee and table which can be used at both cocktail and dining heights. The table top is custom made in order to seat six comfortably at dinner.
Further forward to port are a liquor cabinet and icemaker. To starboard are another settee and a cabinet containing the entertainment center. The seat cushions through-out the boat have been upgraded with a durable, attractive blue and grey fabric. Substantial storage is available under and behind settees.
Further forward, at the galley counter, are two stainless steel stools with upholstered seats that are ideal for a quick breakfast at the counter. On the starboard side, forward of the entertainment center is a day head.
